We have some very exciting news to share… Six Barrel Soda has been acquired by Matt and Tracy Day from St Andrews Limes!
We’ve been working with Matt and Tracy behind-the-scenes over the past five years, as they supply the delicious lime and lemon juice used in many of our syrups. They’re great people, and we’re excited about the future of Six Barrel Soda. We know they’ll do an amazing job.
For over a decade, we’ve been a leader in the craft soda industry, with our sustainably-made syrups, small-batch sodas, sugar-free Seltz Drops, and Sparkler soda makers. We’re proud of the loyal following we’ve built in New Zealand and internationally, and we’re so grateful to all of you who’ve been part of our journey.
The uniting of Six Barrel Soda and St Andrew’s Limes presents a wealth of opportunities, and Matt and Tracy have exciting plans for a new, shared production facility. The new site will be open to the public, as Hawke’s Bay’s first ever specialty soda factory and cellar door. More details on that are coming soon.
The acquisition officially takes place on the 31st of March 2025. We’re committed to a seamless handover, with minimal changes for our customers and suppliers. The same Six Barrel Soda restaurant-quality drinks will continue to be available through all usual stockists and online.
Our online store will take a short break from the 28th of March to 4th of April. The cellar door on Lukes Lane will be closed as of the 27th of March.
Feel free to contact limes@limes.co.nz if you have any questions for Matt and Tracy. Or you can contact us at hi@sixbarrelsoda.co
Thank you so much for all of your support over the past 12 years.
Joe, Mike, Chris and the Six Barrel team.
